3M 4952 is a low surface energy adhesive with a firm, acrylic foam core. It can replace rivets, welds and screws. The tape is a firm, double-sided, pressure-sensitive, closed-cell acrylic foam tape that resists solvents, temperature extremes, and ultraviolet (UV) light. It bonds low surface energy substrates such as polyethylene and polypropylene and provides handling convenience, cushioning, damping, and impact resistance.
